      The atomic deuterium line at 327 MHz has been measured to an accuracy of
0.002 Hz (D.~J. Wineland and N.~F. Ramsey, 1972, Phys. Rev. A
{\bf 5}, 821).  The average spontaneous emission lifetime for the four F
= 3/2 states is $4.695 \times 10^{-17}$ sec$^{-1}$.
